Sofitel 35th Floor

Yes, people. I finally made it to the most famous "loo with a view" in Melbourne. And guess what? It scored 4 and three-quarters!! Not quite five tomatoes. The view from the side window was stunning. The facilities, however, could have been a little more extravagant in order to live up to my VERY high expections. Some flowers or decorations would have been wonderful. They were clean and there were soap dispensers and one of those super-fast hand dryers which I do like but it just needed something more. I'll give them a chance to make some improvements and then I'll go back ;-)

  1. Haha Kate, I read your whole blog, and it brought a few giggles! :) I would give the chilli padi ones 4 tomatoes; funky circle tiles, a new air blade hand dryer and a sweet smelling reed diffuser were the best features. Also, we were at the Melba Restaurant at The Langham, Southbank last week- now they are interesting toilets- lots of different touches which will be sure to float your boat... No pun intended!
